About the game
Walk behind the recruitment desk to start your army
My Army Base by NitrodogStudio is a browser military-management game distributed through Playgama. You control a commander who walks around the camp. For the first recruitment, go to the orange desk at the front of the civilian queue, stand behind it, and wait briefly. The civilian becomes a uniformed soldier and heads toward the truck and assembly area.
Use Play here to open the official player. If an optional save-progress sign-in panel appears, its X lets you return to the camp without signing in. Follow the WASD movement prompt, then locate the recruitment desk before exploring distant locked areas. The camera follows your commander, so the desk and buildings move across the screen as you walk.
After the first recruit, the counter near WAR changes from 0/6 to 1/6 and the objective advances from RECRUIT SOLDIER to PREPARE TRAINING ROOM. Those changes give you a concrete opening route: learn movement, operate the desk, and read the next training prompt. Later construction, equipment, and battles build on that start; you do not need a complete upgrade plan to recruit the first soldier.

Useful strategy
Finish one camp task before exploring another
- Use a short movement first so you can see the commander and camera respond together.
- Follow the open paths around walls; holding a key against a barrier does not create a route.
- Find the civilian queue to recognize the recruitment desk from the correct side.
- Stay at the desk long enough to see the civilian’s uniform and destination change.
- Check the objective text after a recruit instead of continuing to follow an old marker.
- Read live resource and rank requirements before spending currency on optional upgrades.
Read your position while the camera follows
The commander stays near the middle of the view as the camera follows movement. A building shifting downward while you walk north is normal feedback, rather than evidence that the commander is standing still. Compare your position with a nearby wall, the orange desk, or a path junction when learning the controls.
Begin with a short press in an open lane and release it before changing direction. The camp has solid boundaries, including walls around training and vehicle areas. If a direction stops producing progress, look for a clear route around the obstruction. Move back into the open lane before trying to travel along the wall; pressing into a corner repeatedly will not reach the area behind it.
The following camera also means a useful destination will not keep the same screen position throughout your walk. Follow recognizable objects, especially the civilian queue and recruitment desk, instead of aiming for a remembered point on the display. When you return from exploring, use the desk equipment and waiting people to orient yourself again.
Stand on the working side of the orange desk
The orange desk separates the commander’s working side from the waiting civilians. Approach from the camp side behind the desk, not from the far end of the line. You can recognize the desk by the equipment arranged on its surface and the people waiting along the path in front of it. This is a more useful opening landmark than a distant locked vehicle.
Move close enough to the back of the desk and stop. The recruitment interaction needs a brief moment to run. Look at the first civilian in the queue: the visible change into a green uniform is a stronger confirmation than merely reaching the desk. The new soldier then leaves the line and moves toward the truck and assembly area.
If the queue has not changed, check your position relative to the desk before searching for another button. A commander standing farther up the path is near the recruitment area but is not necessarily operating it. Use a small movement toward the working position, release the key, and watch the first person for the result. Keep that first task simple before adding another camp system.
Use the soldier, counter, and objective together
Several pieces of feedback confirm the first recruitment. A civilian changes appearance, a soldier heads toward the assembly area, and the number beside WAR advances to 1/6. Read those together. The fraction is useful for following the current group, but it should not be treated as a complete explanation of every later army-capacity upgrade.
The top-right displays resources separately, including cash and keys. Watch the relevant icon when a value changes. Recruiting can produce visible cash feedback in the opening, while other counters remain unchanged. Do not assume that every recruit pays a fixed amount or that one resource can replace another simply because both are shown in the same corner.
The objective also changes once the opening recruit is complete. RECRUIT SOLDIER becomes PREPARE TRAINING ROOM, and orange markers appear around the training area. That is your cue to read a new task. Continuing to walk around the desk while expecting the old instruction to change again can hide the useful progress you have already made.
Follow the next prompt before choosing an upgrade
After recruiting, inspect the training-room markers and the prompt associated with them. The publisher describes training, equipment improvements, base expansion, and later battles, but the next live interaction is the right place to learn its current requirement. Read the resource icon and amount before committing currency or assuming the room is already prepared.
Other parts of the camp advertise rank requirements, costumes, rewards, and additional activities. Keep those separate from the immediate training objective. A locked rank label tells you that an area has a requirement; it does not mean that exploring that area is the shortest route to the first training task. Return to the current objective when the camp offers several distractions.
Use one observable problem to guide the next decision. First confirm recruitment, then understand the training prompt, and only then compare further options. This is an opening learning sequence, not a claim that one fixed purchase order is optimal throughout the game. Prices, unlocks, and later military needs should come from the actual stage you have reached.
Quick answers
My Army Base FAQ
Where can I play My Army Base by NitrodogStudio?
Use Play on this page to open the official Playgama browser player. The source below identifies NitrodogStudio and the exact title, helping distinguish it from other army-base or idle-management games.
How do I recruit my first soldier?
Walk behind the orange desk at the front of the civilian queue and remain there briefly. Watch the first civilian change into a uniformed soldier and head toward the assembly area.
How do I move around?
Click inside the game and use WASD on desktop. The camera follows the commander. Use nearby walls and path junctions to judge movement, and take an open route around barriers.
What should happen after the first recruit?
The WAR counter advances to 1/6 and the objective changes to PREPARE TRAINING ROOM, with orange markers in the training area. Read the next live prompt before choosing an upgrade.
Do I have to sign in to start?
The opening save-progress panel can be closed with its X so you can enter the camp as a guest. Cross-device cloud saving is a separate sign-in feature; a guest session does not establish that it is enabled.
What should I upgrade first?
Complete the opening recruitment and inspect the training-room objective. Compare the current requirement with your resource displays. This guide does not prescribe a universal purchase order for later battles or expansion.
